THE IMPACT OF TORAS SHIMON
Rabbi Shimon Alster was a self-made Gadol with a miraculous beginning and even more impressive accomplishments. His dedication to Torah and elation on his face while plowing through a sugya spoke of his prodigious devotion to Hashem. His authenticity, encouragement, unique insight and deep love for others made every Talmid feel like his closest Talmid.
He was a living example of Hasmadah in Torah
Rabbi Shimon Alster had the remarkable ability to always be fully committed in all his interests and responsibilities. From his Second seder in the Long Branch Yeshiva, to Yeshiva Gedolah of Cliffwood and his shul Beis Medrash Torah U’Tefillah, his leadership and guidance was profoundly felt.
With his clarity and confidence, he led his talmidim. Always teaching them to be more, to be better and to be the best versions of themselves.
Toras Shimon was founded to continue his legacy and bring his words of torah to life once again.
